Rush concert in the Ziggo Dome Amsterdam
The first Rush album dates from 1974, but the band is far from ready to retire! The last time Rush performed in The Netherlands was in 2011 under the title ‘Time Machine Tour’, with a show that was a delight for the eye by using giant video screens, lasers and a light show.
This time it’s their new album ‘Clockwork Angels’ that takes the Canadian prog rock trio to Ziggo Dome. Fans had to wait five years for the twentieth (!) studio album that will be released in June. ‘Clockwork Angels’ tells the story of the quest of a boy through an abundant and colorful world of steampunk and alchemy, which he tries to follow his dreams. Rush will translate this story to the stage in Amsterdam.
