About
Alice Cooper, born in Detroit and raised in Phoenix, is a pioneer of theatrical hard rock with a dark edge. His spectacular shows, influenced by horror movies, vaudeville and rock, feature electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and snakes. With a career dating back to the 1970s, Cooper continues to tour worldwide and mesmerize fans with his unique blend of music and horror themes.
The original Alice Cooper band broke through in 1971 with the album Love It to Death and enjoyed success with hits such as School's Out and Billion Dollar Babies. Cooper later embarked on a successful solo career, releasing the legendary album Welcome to My Nightmare, along with a groundbreaking concert tour.
In the 1980s and 1990s, he continued to experiment with different styles, scoring a world hit with Poison. Cooper also appeared in films such as Wayne's World and horror films such as Freddy's Dead. To this day, Alice Cooper continues to surprise and entertain, a living legend of shock-rock.
