Biffy Clyro is een Schotse rockband die vooral post-hardcore, alternatieve en experimentele rock speelt. Het geluid van de band wordt gekenmerkt door een zware maar melodische mix van gitaar, bas en drums waarbij alle drie bandleden bijdragen aan de zang. De band is opgericht in 1995 en bestaat uit Simon Neil (zang/gitaar), James Johnston (bas) en zijn tweelingbroer Ben Johnston (drums). Sinds het debuutalbum Blackened Sky werken de Schotten gestaag aan hun carrière: in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland zijn ze inmiddels uitgegroeid tot festivalheadliners.
