Biffy Clyro

Biffy Clyro broke through from the alternative scene and grew to become one of the biggest rock bands in the United Kingdom. They scored three UK number 1 albums and played at major festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Download, TRNSMT, and Isle of Wight. Last June, they performed at Pinkpop. They also headlined TRNSMT Festival and Glastonbury's legendary Pyramid Stage this summer.

The band is known for their intense and uncompromising live performances. In 2020, they played their album A Celebration of Endings in its entirety during a livestream from the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, for which they received a BAFTA Scotland Award. Over the years, the band has received multiple awards from NME, Kerrang!, and Q, among others, and has also been nominated for both the BRIT Awards and the Mercury Prize.

AFAS Live

Getting there

AFAS Live is easily accessible from the highway. For some events we also offer parking tickets. This way you can reserve a spot in advance and don't have to stress on location.

There are two train stations in the area of AFAS Live: Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA and Duivendrecht. Both stations are within walking distance. Both intercity trains and sprinters with connections from Schiphol, Utrecht Centraal, Ede-Wageningen, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Gouda and Rotterdam, among others, stop at these stations. If you are travelling from Schiphol, Almere or Amersfoort, take the train to Duivendrecht station. If you are travelling from Amsterdam Central and Utrecht Central, take the train to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station.

You can reach AFAS Live by city and regional bus, and R-net runs between Haarlem station and Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena. Also at night!

By metro, you get off at metro station Bijlmer ArenA, within walking distance of AFAS Live.
