Child of Destiny Tickets

“Ladies leave your man at home, the club is full of ballers and their pockets full grown”. This fall, a musical tribute will take place in the Melkweg to one of the most influential girl bands of all time: Destiny’s Child.

25 years ago, their second album 'The Writings On The Wall' brought a definitive breakthrough, selling more than 13 million copies worldwide. The clients in Beyoncé’s mother’s salon were a significant source of inspiration with their grievances and complaints about men, relationships, and financial worries. Resulting in global hits such as “Bills, Bills, Bills”, “Bug a Boo”, “Say My Name” and “Jumpin’ Jumpin’”.

What many do not know is that Destiny’s Child shares a rich history with our country. The Netherlands was the first country in Europe where the band gained a foothold, with their first headline show in Melkweg! For this special anniversary, four top singers are going all out, accompanied by a phenomenal band led by Elisha Amonoo-Neizer.
