Alegría is the Spanish word for joy and elation, exactly what the show radiates. The show is the most fascinating and famous show of Cirque du Soleil. Alegría has a baroque and opera style with flamboyant costumes, original live music and an overwhelming stage which gives room for the most amazing spectacle of art and acrobatics, which includes the ‘Synchro Trapeze’ and the rhythmic and dangerous ‘Fire-Knife Dance’. The result is a very impressive mix of skills, strength and speed in combination with elegant performances.
The vibrancy of the youth is living in the fast ‘Power Track’, a fantastic synchronized choreography and tumbling on a trampoline system, which is magically revealed under the stage floor.
