Dropkick Murphys proudly remain Boston's rock 'n' roll underdogs who became champions after all. In combining Irish folk music, hardcore and punk, the Dropkick Murphys still reign supreme. Inspired by bands such as Stiff Little Fingers, The Pogues, AC/DC, The Clash, The Misfits and Motörhead and complete with guitars, mandolins and bagpipes, the band created a unique sound of their own.

Their discography includes four consecutive Billboard top 10 album debuts (Turn Up That Dial, 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory, Signed and Sealed in Blood, Going Out In Style), along with 2005's gold record The Warrior's Code with the double platinum single I'm Shipping Up To Boston. Dropkick Murphys' music has generated half a billion streams, they have quietly sold over 8 million copies worldwide and the band has sold out gigs on multiple continents. In 2020, the band was one of the first to embrace streaming performances with their virtual performance Streaming Up From Boston St. Patrick's Day.
