Similar to steadying a ship in rough seas, KALEO deftly navigates the extremes of life through music. Hailing from Reykjavík, KALEO, JJ Julius Son (vocals, guitar, piano), Rubin Pollock (lead guitar), Daniel Kristjansson (bass) and David Antonsson (drums), shot to the forefront with the platinum-certified album A/B in 2016. The album grew into a phenomenon bolstered by the double platinum No. 1 single Way Down We Go, the gold-certified All The Pretty Girls and No Good, which earned a GRAMMY. They maintained this momentum with Surface Sounds (2021) and reached the Top 6 on AAA with I Want More and Break My Baby.

Their music flowed through popular culture with dozens of film and television synopses, including Marvel movies like LOGAN and popular TV shows like Grey's Anatomy and Riverdale. In addition, the boys have made their mark with appearances on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Good Morning America and more. In addition to sold-out headlining tours on multiple continents, they know how to stir up festival crowds at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and more. To date, they have reached more than 4 billion global streams and earned 60 international certifications.

As always, the band is influenced by a vast spectrum of sound and feel, which is manifested on their 2024 single Lonely Cowboy. KALEO originally debuted the song to a sold-out audience at The Grand Ole Opry in 2022, and recently delivered a stunning performance of the song at the world-famous Colosseum in Rome, Italy.
