About

King Princess – the charismatic singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Brooklyn – got the stamp of musical prodigy at a young age. In their father's studio they taught them all the tricks of the trade: producing, recording and playing bass, drums, guitar and piano. With the touching song '1950', King Princess scored a first hit in 2018. The song is a moving ode to the generation that paved the way for freedom in queer expression. That year's debut album 'Cheap Queen' was a playful exploration of gender and sexuality, released on Mark Ronson's label. After touring with Kacey Musgraves and Shawn Mendes, a rougher second record followed in 2022.
