Koosje is a singer-songwriter with a unique voice in the Dutch music scene. Drawing from a musical world rich in neo-soul, folk, jazz, and R&B, she has been building her own universe since her debut album It’s Time (2023), where expression, harmony, and emotion take center stage. Her second album One More, set to release in May 2025, marks a new chapter in her artistic journey: intimate, layered, and infused with life experience.

Born into a theater family and shaped at the intersection of cabaret and conservatory training, Koosje effortlessly moves between vocal technique and free musical imagination. She has collaborated with artists such as Ruben Hein, João Erbetta, and the Artvark Saxophone Quartet, and received praise from legends like David Crosby, Gregory Porter, and Lalah Hathaway.

One More is an ode to transience and resilience, a reflection on life’s ups and downs, written and recorded in her home studio. The album blends soulful grooves (“Oblivion,” “Quiet Portrait”) with tranquil folk influences (“One More,” “IBIL”), always carried by layered harmonies and emotionally charged vocals.

With João Erbetta as co-producer and a fully live-recorded production, Koosje reveals herself not only as a singer, but also as a composer, arranger, and storyteller. Following a successful album tour, performances at Paradiso and TivoliVredenburg, and winning the Rabo Talent Award, One More affirms her place as one of the most versatile and distinctive voices of her generation.
