Morrissey's influence and musical legacy are irrefutable. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop music and one of the greatest lyricists of his generation. Morrissey has released 13 solo albums, all of which have reached the British top 10, including 3 number 1 hits, and he has won an Ivor Novello Award for his exceptional contribution to British music. Morrissey recently received a 2024 Social Vanguard Award in recognition of his 'excellent service and dedication to animal rights'.

As the lead singer of The Smiths, he has forever left his mark on music history with just four albums. As a soloist, he has consolidated a sound that still echoes, making him one of the most acclaimed voices of the past four decades. When The Smiths' debut single, "Hand In Glove", was first released, the musical landscape changed forever and a rich catalog of songs was launched, including anthems such as "This Charming Man", "How Soon Is Now?" There is a light that never goes out. When Morrissey began his solo career, he continued his series of iconic and influential songs with "Suedehead", "Everyday Is Like Sunday", "Irish Blood, English Heart", "First of the Gang to Die" and many others.
