About

'Pop at Pinksteren'

Pinkpop, the Netherlands' oldest and most famous pop festival, had its first edition in 1970 on May 18th in Geleen. Its name derives from the weekend it is usually held in - Pentecost, or 'Pinksteren' in Dutch. The festival started out as a single-day event, but grew into a multi-day happening in Geleen, Baarlo (once) and eventually Landgraaf. It's one of the biggest and most important festivals in the Dutch festival landscape.

FAQS

On the Pinkpop terrain you'll find over 50 incredible acts playing across three days and five stages (both open air and indoors). Besides the large main terrain, there's also some smaller, less crowded areas which offer a more varied selection of food and drinks and a place to relax. The festival market offers all kinds of merchandise.

The 51st Pinkpop has been rescheduled for 18-19-20 June 2021.

Tickets for Pinkpop remain valid for the same day of Pinkpop 2021 (i.e. Friday 2020 is now Friday 2021, etc.). We'd recommend keeping your ticket(s) to enjoy Pinkpop next year, with no further actions necessary.

Tickets for Pinkpop 2021 will be available from 18 September, 10am on this page. Anyone who requested a voucher for their 2020 tickets will get access to a presale starting 14 September, 10am.

The minimum age to attend Pinkpop on your own is 12 years old. When accompanied by an adult, children are welcome at Pinkpop. Every visitor needs a valid ticket to the festival. To discourage parents from bringing children that are too young, there are no reduced prices for children.
