Ruth Jacott has been an important part of the Dutch music industry for a while now. Hits such as Lean on Me, Heart Rate and Stay With Me followed her breakthrough with Vrede during the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. In addition to being an esteemed singer, Ruth Jacott also emerged as the true theatre icon she is today. After many theatre tours with  her own repertoire, Latin repertoire and odes to her musical heroines from soul and jazz, Ruth Jacott performed her own musical show in an open-air theatre for the first time two years ago. Together with her band and a delirious audience she celebrated a fantastic party that left the audience wanting more.
