The Hu mixes characteristic Mongolian throat vocals – playing on traditional instruments such as Tumur Khuur, Morin Khuur and Tovshuur – with hard-hitting heavy metal, resulting in a unique sound from two contrasting worlds. The band popped into the spotlight out of nowhere when their songs Yuve Yuve Yu and Wolf Totem went viral, opening the way to the big venues abroad. Recently their second album was released with Rumble Of Thunder.
