If there is one band that has made the hearts of both rock/metal and dance lovers beat faster since 1990, it is The Prodigy. These groundbreaking English crossover pioneers have built a musical bridge between "heavy" and electronic. More specifically: a furious and eclectic mix of electropunk, bigbeat, industrial, rave, breakbeat, rock, hip hop, house and electro - which has had an immense influence on countless DJs, bands and artists in recent decades. The Prodigy scored a major series of world hits over the past 35 years including 'Breathe', 'Firestarter', 'Smack My Bitch Up', 'Omen', 'Voodoo People', 'Out of Space', 'No Good (Start the Dance)', and 'Invaders Must Die' (togethered for almost a billion streams on Spotify). After the tragic death of frontman Keith Flint in March 2019, the remaining band members Liam Howlett and Maxim, now complemented by drummer Leo Crabtree and guitarist Rob Holliday, did not return to the UK until 2022. The year after that, they also gave some shows outside their own country. While the band is currently preparing for this year's concerts (including major prestigious festivals in Europe and the U.S.), The Prodigy is at the same time working hard in the studio to make new material for the successor to their seventh (and most recent) studio album 'No Tourists' from 2018, The Prodigy's sixth full-length in a row that peaked at number #1 in the British album chart.
