Thee Sacred Souls consists of drummer Alex Garcia, bassist Sal Samano, and singer Josh Lane, who formed a band together in 2019 and within a year landed a record deal with the iconic funk and soul label Daptone Records, once home to Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and Charles Bradley, among others.

Growing up with his Christian parents' gospel music, but also with classic Motown records, Josh Lane's velvety falsetto voice echoes the sound of a rich musical past, most notably Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield. Along with his soulful bandmates in Thee Sacred Souls, Lane effortlessly translates that legacy into a sound for all times, but especially for the summer.

Thee Sacred Souls is all about delivering the most beautiful and authentic sound possible; for this reason, the trio chooses to record all their music analog instead of digital. Their first singles were streamed over ten million times and gained the attention of mainstream media such as Rolling Stone, as well as artists like Timbaland and Gary Clark Jr.

Given the rave reviews, the buzz around this young band from San Diego is expected to spread like wildfire in the coming years.
