Public Transport
Melkweg is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest tram stops are located at Leidseplein, just a one-minute walk from the main entrance of the Melkweg. The trams that stop here provide convenient connections to most train stations in Amsterdam. We recommend planning your journey via 9292.

By bike
The nearest bicycle parking facility is located directly to the right of the main entrance. This is an open-air public bike rack with 500 spaces. A few minutes’ walk away at Leidseplein, you’ll find an indoor and guarded bicycle parking facility with almost 2000 spaces. By car
Melkweg is located in the city center of Amsterdam, which makes it difficult to reach by car. If possible, we recommend using public transport or one of the Park + Ride (P+R) options, and continuing the final part of your journey by public transport.
