Zelfs onder de supersterren valt Bryan Adams in een buitencategorie. Sinds zijn debuutsingle 'Let Me Take You Dancing' uit 1978 is deze sympathieke 66-jarige

Canadese singer-songwriter, multi-muzikant, record producer, fotograaf, activist-filantroop en acteur (o.a. in de films 'House Of Fools', 'Pink Cadillac' en Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves') wereldwijd een begrip onder vier generaties muziekliefhebbers, die moeiteloos zijn vele wereldhits mee kunnen zingen. Alleen al Adams' klassiekers 'Summer Of '69', 'Heaven', '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You', 'Run To You', 'Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?', 'All For Love', 'When You're Gone', 'Straight From The Heart', 'It's Only Love' en de kersthit 'Christmas Time', zijn samen goed voor bijna vier miljard(!) streams op Spotify. 

Bryan Adams is de afgelopen vier decennia onverminderd populair gebleven (afgelopen oktober zelfs verkocht hij Ahoy in Rotterdam nog met groot gemak uit). In deze bijna halve eeuw bracht hij maar liefst 18 studio-albums en 77 singles uit, waarvan er wereldwijd 100 miljoen werden verkocht, waardoor Adams een van de bestverkopende artiesten ooit is. Ook qua prijzen is Bryan een heuse winnaar: hij mocht onder meer 20 Juno Awards, een American Music Awards, Grammy Award en een MTV Video Music Award in ontvangst nemen, en werd meermaals genomineerd voor Golden Globe-, Grammy- en Academy Awards (Oscars).
