The result of the boundless ambitions of Dutch symphonic metal band EPICA: a headlining show at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026. With Swedish melodic powermetal/metalcore band Amaranthe as co-headliner. Charlotte Wessels will provide the evening's support act.

Before EPICA's February 2026 Ziggo Dome show is a reality, the symphonic metal band first has a particularly busy year ahead of them. First, there is the worldwide release of the brand new studio album “Aspiral” on Friday, April 11, which will be released by Nuclear Blast Records. Then, in May, the band will fly across the Atlantic for a nine-show tour of Mexico, where the six musicians are now as popular as they are in their home country. In June and July, EPICA will again perform at summer festivals, including Europe's largest metal festivals Graspop Metal Meeting on Thursday, June 19, and Hellfest (FR) the following day.

Formed in 2008, Amaranthe has always walked its own path. With highly infectious metalcore, poppy powermetal anthems and high-profile performances (with three vocalists on stage), Amaranthe has been making a clear mark on the “heavy” scene over the past decade. This Swedish band now has more than a billion streams and views online. Dutch singer-songwriter and former Delain singer (from 2005 to 2021) Charlotte Wessels is another veteran. Wessels recently released her third solo album “The Obsession” via Napalm Records, on which she showcases a heavy, catchy sound with progressive elements. Charlotte has been good friends with EPICA for many years and was one of the guest musicians at the two 'Symphonic Synergy' concerts at the AFAS Live Amsterdam in September 2024.

Ziggo Dome

Getting there

Ziggo Dome is easily accessible from the highway. For some events we also offer parking tickets. This way, you can reserve a spot in advance and not have to stress about it when you get to the venue.

There are two train stations in the area of the Ziggo Dome: Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA and Duivendrecht. Both stations are within walking distance. Both intercity trains and sprinters with connections from Schiphol, Utrecht Centraal, Ede-Wageningen, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Gouda and Rotterdam, among others, stop at these stations. If you are travelling from Schiphol, Almere or Amersfoort, take the train to Duivendrecht station. If you are travelling from Amsterdam Central and Utrecht Central, take the train to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station.

You can reach the Ziggo Dome by city and regional bus, and R-net runs between Haarlem station and Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena. Also at night!

By metro, you get off at metro station Bijlmer ArenA, within walking distance of the Ziggo Dome.
