Editors released a new single called Heart Attack in April. It's a debut release with award-winning composer and producer Benjamin John Power, also known as Blanck Mass, who has joined the band as a full-time member. With its pulsating electronic intensity, immersive synths inspired by the 80s, and an epic, driving drum sound, Heart Attack is the perfect introduction to the new era of Editors. At the same time, it fits seamlessly into the band's existing repertoire: the sounds and brooding vocals of frontman Tom Smith make it instantly recognizable.

Labeled as both indie rock band, neo-post punk band and one of the most beloved modern rock bands, Editors have been a success for 20 years. Consisting of frontman Tom Smith, the singer and guitarist, Russell Leetch on the bass, Ed Lay behind the drums, Justin Lockey as guitarist and Eliott Williams on both keys and guitar. In 2022 they will exist exactly 20 years: "I feel old", according to Smith. Their debut album, The Black Room, was released in 2005 with the hits Munich, This Light and This Evening. Their second album, An End Has A Start (2007), was also a success. They have already released six albums and a compilation. The first single from the new album has also been released.

In the Netherlands they have already performed at Pinkpop, Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole and in Ziggo Dome. After the many live shows, they are still a success!
